Welcome on board of one of the most comfortable and pleasant traditional Dutch sailing ships. De Vrouw Dina is being sailed by Simi Koornstra and het experienced crew.
After a five year period of restoration the ship has from June 2009 been certified as a sailing passenger ship. She meets the latest security conditions issued by the Dutch maritime authorities.
The 'Overijsselse Zeetjalk' as this type of vessel is officially named, is equipped with all the contemporary needs and demands for a safe, comfortable, and sociable stay on board.
The upperdeck offers much room to move. Or you can have a seat on the afterdeck. In daytime the 'roef' -normally the captain's living room - is open for general use. That way you can enjoy the view over the Wadden Sea even in lesser weather conditions.
By following the stairs inside you'll arrive in a completely equipped galley with all the necessary devices under which a dishwasser. The saloon contains a comfortable living-room suite with ample space for about 20 guests. The accommodation is coloured brightly and finished with oak.
There's a second entry on the port side (left) in the front of the ship. Situated also in the front are the six double cabins/bedrooms, each with it's own shower and toilet. The whole ship has central heating.
The cabins are all equipped with 220 Volt sockets that have power 24 h/day. Shaving, blow drying, and charging all kinds of equipment is thus always possible.
